Sophie Withnall.
Sophie from Eccleshill is a member of Fitness First at Eccleshill and asked about sesssions we run hoping to get some practise in before she runs her first race The Jane Tomlinson 10k in Leeds, after coming to her first session she was a little nervous thinking she would be left behind by faster runners…but on her visit to us found the members welcoming and helpful so much she made her mind up to join us after the first session.Sophie is now a regular member on our training sessions.

Dawn Hogan.
Welcome to Dawn who has decided to join us after been club photographer at races when travelling with husband Mick….and has already jumped in to running by entering the John Carr race series at Esholt , Dawn says its a double header by Joining the club she can keep fit while keeping a eye on Mick at the same time.
Sharon Heels.
Sharon who lives at a Leeds postcode was new to running , and took a bit time to pluck up courage thinking what lots of people new to running think that she just was not fast enough to be in a club, but came along to one of our training sessions anyway, after seeing the friendlines of our members and the welcome she recieved she dident have second thought about joining us.
Sharon is now working very hard in her training for her first race.
Stuart Armitage.
Stuart put in for the Epilepsy Action 10k ,running for his friend who had contracted motoneuron disease, ( in which he raised 700 pounds ) ,he found us by attending one of the training clinics for unattached runners which Airedale Athletics advertised in the race entry pack…his first thought about coming to a clinic was just to help him in get through the 10k ..After attending a couple of training sessions it dident take him long to sign up after discovering the friendliness of the club. now after completing the Bradford 10k he has found running as become a life changing experiance .
